Uh, this round hasnt even started yet, we wont know details until both sides release their GPUs, since both will be DX11, of course ATI is releasing earlier, so they have a legup, but we wont know until GT300s come out.

I hate to break it to you, just like previous generations when one side doesn't show up, the world doesn't wait for them. ATI kicked off this generation and nVidia is going to have to work harder to catch up.

Yeah, where exactly is ATI with Havok and OCL GPU power physics after 3+ years of touting both horns? 1 Demo and STILL NO GPU BASED PHYSICS. PhysX will either go by the way side, or become something bigger until something else replaces it. And as of today, PhysX IS the only game in town for GPU based PhysX and GPU based PhysX add a much more real feal to game than anything else tried so far.

Havok was bought by intel, gpu based physics based upon it isn't going to happen. The best we can hope for is MS adding physics into DirectX.

Yes, it would be silly to see AMD and Intel doing happy dance and release OpenCL version of Havoc together. ;)
