My Washington Huskies beat USC today. My Huskies went 0-12 last year and hadn't won a game in 15 tries. Needless to say we are completely jazzed about this huge upset.

Nicely done. I'm extra amused because the announcers on a game I was watching before that one had a big discussion about how people were calling this a trap game for USC and how they didn't understand why. I wonder if they get it now?:)

What's funny is that my LSU team struggled with game one against the Huskies and didn't go up a single ranking because of it. They were being ridiculed for not blowing out the Huskies. I hope this shuts them up.

At the risk of opening a huge can of worms, this is why I don't like the current college method of choosing a national champion - it's based on people's (generally flawed) perception of which teams are the best. Granted by the end of the season you probably have a better idea of who is good, but it's still going to be wrong a lot of the time.

This is why I am a fan of the traditional bowl system. The Pac 10 and Big 10 should be in the Rose bowl and all the other conferences need to have their traditional bowl games. Then you can have a play-off system. The winners of the bowl games can play each other till there is one left. Simple solution.
