View Full Version : Titans Defense Sucks
The team needs a change. Collins is NOT a winner. Get someone in there to energize the team like Vince did 2 seasons ago and Albert did last season.
Give them some belief Fisher, stop being such a ****in douche that you can't even admit to yourself that Collins is not starter material.

Not much different than my team, though we slid through with a win. 3 Interceptions and a Fumble by Campbell?!?! WTF!
As for the Titans Six, I have always kinda liked em, so I hope you guys can start winning. I don't want to see the Titans pull a Detroit run!...

I agree. I don't see why they didn't throw Young in, at least for a drive or two, just to see how he would do. The D still sucks, as they have in each game this season.
Pretty much every game, there have been quite a few passes where the Titans D just leaves a receiver WIDE OPEN. That should not happen . . . well, shouldn't' happen THAT much.

For what it's worth, I like seeing competitive games, like the Dallas game where either team could have won because of their defense and the offense had to take what was given (except for Romo who laid yet another turd today).
While I was happy for the 49'ers, there was no fun or excitement in that game after the first quarter :(

That Atlanta vs Tampa Bay game was pretty good, right up to the last play.
I'm just glad the Falcons broke that little losing streak.
Next week's game against the Eagles is definitely going to be on TV here though. Vick coming back to the Georgia Dome on the wrong side of the field... whether he plays or not, people are going to want to see that. ;)
That's a huge game too. If Atlanta wins they'll have the same record, and that could mean the difference between barely squeaking into the playoffs and not even coming close.

I can't believe there are two 11-0 teams in the NFL right now. That's crazy.
Knowing the Saints though, they could go undefeated all season and get beat in their first playoff game, so I'll actually be surprised if they make it to the super bowl.

I don't know.
If Brees plays even at 75% of last night, the Saints could ride it out.
But, if he just can't do it for one game and the running game doesn't step up, it could be over.
I am just surprised at their defense this season. They have played well.

Well the Falcons put up a pretty tough fight when they played the Saints, and they're far from "great" this year. I don't think it would take much for the Saints to fall. They totally dominated the first half of the season but their recent games have been much closer. One turnover could have lost them a few of their recent games.
If they have a mediocre game against a great team they're going to lose. They've been lucky enough to have their mediocre games against inferior teams so far. Still, they're a force to be reckoned with, that's for sure.

Not going to disagree.
Actually had a similar conversation today with a colleague of mine. The points raised were, we have 2 undefeated teams.
The Colts have had to come from behind or barely won most of their games and have blown out a couple. Manning and some timely defensive stops are the only reasons they are still undefeated. They could easily have been 7-3 this season. Their 11-0 record is a nice to have but it doesn't reflect how they have played at times this season.
The Saints will either play you relatively close and win at the end or they will blow you out. I have yet to see a game this season where I had a doubt the Saints would win. They just have this quality about them and their defense has stepped up big at key times. They deserve to be 11-0 and the record reflects how they have played. Even when they have come from behind, they have usually ended up winning big. Brees is a big weapon but he has good receivers and good backs and a good line and the defense is pretty decent as well.
