I have been looking and am unable to find if there would be a difference running a low end card for physx vs a higher end card. Are there any benchmarks out there showing the differences ?
I am using an 8800gt for physx right now but it isnt mine and I have to bring it back to work before Fri so should I get a cheapy card or aim a little higher ? The performance increase in Batman at 1920x1080 all maxed we way more than I expected by adding an 8800gt to a 280gtx.

The 8800GT is plenty ,or a 9800GT would be plenty too.I have heard a 9600GT and up will work just fine ,you want get no more boost useing a high dollars card .newegg has a open box XFX 9800GT for $70.99 and that should work perfect since it is basically the same as a 8800GT.
