if nvidia is so confident in ther card ,why send out blurry pictures ,ATI has done made thier card ,so I don't think this will help ATI by seeing a picture of the GF100 .It makes me wonder if the new GT300 is all it is crack up to be,if they can't give any information about it except for a blurry picture.

The reason is because you cannot handle its awesomeness. They blur it out for your protection...

That picture was blurred out by Rys at Beyond3d. Nvidia did not send that out.

But seriously, how about we wait for the final silicon before writing off the card yah?

If Nvidia doesn't want to let ATI start eating into there very large market share, then yes they need to let us have some information about there new cards. At least give us something to think about.

Maybe Nvidia doesn't mind if you buy an ATI card since once the GT300 hits they just know you will immediately ditch it and harness the power that wipes the floor clean with the GT 300 (ahmm not a dust buster joke). I tend to believe that Nvidia quietness at this stage is really a very strong stance of confidence. Maybe time table wise it is a little off but in the end something very good is coming. I may buy an ATI 5970, they appear to be a great card, waiting on the 2gb version and if Nvidia GT300 is great! Buy that too, why not :D.

I will not buy another card until the GT300 launches or at least we get some reliable info on the card. It's just frustraiting that there is no news. I to believe it will wipe the floor with everything in its path when it launches though.

When nVidia deliver the single strongest GPU, I'll buy it and ditch SLi :)

ATI does have a quality looking card. I am kind of getting sick of the (un-thought out) sticker's that some of the companies are putting on them.

First of all, un-intelligent insults just make you sound dumb. "their" card...

second of all, the GT 300 series specs were just released, granted we don't have benchmarks but honestly the steps they're taking in enabling the cards to be fully C++ and IEE-768 Floating Point compliant... that's amazing, for the simple minded there won't be alot to be had with these. But to everyone who's had any experience programming and experience with CUDA enabled programs this will mean alot of programs are goin to run on the video card... which consequently means everything will be faster.

I for one approve of what they're doing... we don't even have benchmarks yet but from what they're showcasing technology wise it brings alot more to the table than Ati's newest.

Their timing suggest's that Nvidia isn't worried and I have a feeling that they will be avail to order by christmas. If the benchmark's are good enough, IMO they won't need to be in stock during chrismas. Either way, this is a good year for us.

I hope nvidia card is all it is supposed to be ,I would like to run just one card and not need SLI unless it is just for show.I hope when it comes out it is faster then two GTX 295's ,but really just faster then two GTX 285's in SLI would be just perfect.

Are you sure it's not fake. It looks same like the ATI HD 58** cards, only in green.

Anyway it looks kind of OK. I can always paint it red. :)
