His shooting has been pretty bad the last few games.
That Cleveland/Portland game just about destroyed me last night. Freaking James goes 8-8 in the first period and scores 20. The guy is ridiculous. Only reason Portland got back in it is that Roy is a beast and Lebron shared the ball too much.

I thought Lebron was going for 60 last night, but Mo Williams almost gave the game away. He was chucking all over the court, bricking shots left and right. And Doris Burke was so damn moist for Lebron LOL.
Brandon Roy is a beast, but Portland has too many injured players right now.

Somewhere (on tv) Chris Webber is calling a time-out he doesn't have :bleh:
:rofl
Cleveland has been playing extraordinary the last few weeks. They've lost a few games in the last month, but they are in first place in the league. They need to keep up the pace.
Oh, Tyger, I don't think that they need another guard...I think that they need a healthy forward/center like a healthy KG or a Amare Stoudamire, or a Lamar Odom, etc. I still think that they will beat a healthy Celtics team like they are right now.

In your dreams. They would get creamed in a 7 game stretch against Orlando, LA, Boston, and Denver.
While a shooting PF would be nice, they need a PG more. Honestly, if I were them. I'd ship off Z, West, Mo, and Varacrap. Get back Z for minimum salary. Say to hell with the rest. Pick up a true PG (Andre Miller or Steve Blake) and pick up a shooting PF (Boozer, Jamison, or Bosh) . All of those guys are attainable right now.

I would definitely go for Bosh. I forgot that his contract was expiring. I agree with some of your trades, but I would definitely keep Mo or even West. Both have great potential.
We had boozer once before, and that didn't work out too well. He's a good PF, but he is very spotty--at best. I would be the first one to ship Varaho out because I simply don't like him. He's just plain terrible. I can remember that he was a hold out a couple of years back, and now, they give him a $50 million contract. For that, I will never forgive Cleveland.:thumbdwn:
EDIT: I stand by my comments on the Celtics. They beat the Lakers (healthy), and they've beat the Hawks (healthy)--twice. The Hawks have beaten the Celtics 3 times in the last month.

Yea, the Cavs had Boozer. But he wasn't the same Boozer he is now. The Boozer now would be a great addition.
Bosh would obviously be the best choice, but also most expensive and hardest to obtain. Its my opinion that Bosh will go to the Heat to join Dwayne or go to the Rockets. Not likely you'll see in anywhere else. Just my opinion
West is too big of a cry baby. I hate the guy. He needs to be off the team.
Mo Williams has All Star potential but is probably the most inconsistent player in the NBA. His defense is also about as good as Steve Nash. I don't like him for the Cavs, for the money he makes. I'm all for bang for the buck.
The NBA doesn't work like that. You cant say "well the Cavs beat the Hawks twice and the Hawks beat the Celtics 3 times". The reason why the Cavs beat the Hawks is simply because they have a better team. However, the reason why the Hawks beat the Celtics is due to two things. 1 The Celtics are still plagued with injuries. 2.(the more important one). The Hawks have a great mismatch advantage. The Celtics just don't have guys that match up well against the Hawks. Joe Johnson and Josh Smith are both extremely unique players in the NBA. They create match-up problems to whomever they play.
This is where the Cavs are at a disadvantage. They don't match up well against teams like Orlando, Denver, LA, and Boston. They can't compete with the 3's of Orlando. They can't compete at Point Guard with Chauncey Billups in Denver. They have ZERO answer for Pau Gasol and Lamar Odom in LA. And the Celtics are just simply better at every position than the Cavs other than SF. Rondo is better than West. Allen is better than Mo. KG is better than Varacrap. Perkins is better than aging shaq.

As good as Bosh is playing, there is no way the Cavs have the salary space to pick him up. Especially since LeBron is going to be a free agent next year. I have a feeling he's going to set a record and get a 30million per year contract.
And they're not getting a good point guard either. All the top guards in the league are taken. Nash isn't going anywhere. CP3 isn't going anywhere. Rondo isn't going anywhere. Maybe Deron. All other point guards are 2nd rate scrubs imho. Maybe they'll get lucky and pickup a good rookie PG who will turn into something good, but it'll take 2 years min for him to mature.

Mo Williams IS a good guard. Yes he needs work on D, and he is All-Star material. They need to invest in him instead of hoping for something better.
the spot that needs most attention is the one that Shaq is filling right now. He's not stable answer the Cavs need. He's a temp answer, and he can NOT stay healthy.

I don't understand how you can be on the same team as LeBron and average 5 assists per game... It isn't like he's a rookie to the NBA either. The guy is nowhere close to allstar material. He's an average starting PG in the NBA.

I won't dispute that with you....but I think they can do a lot worse than who they have as a PG right now.
Tyger, I don't think that Boozer would be welcomed in the Cavs locker room either. From what I've heard, he had some attitude issues with the coach and LeBron.

I think Baron Davis is the most underrated player in the NBA. While Tyger is all over Allen Iverson's crotch, he should be looking at Davis. If Davis was on the Cavs team, that would be a match made in heaven.

Honestly the Clippers are not that bad. They almost have a .500 record, and compete just about every night they play. They just happen to be in the West where if you're not at .600 you're not in the playoffs. They just need to find a way to squeeze an extra 5-7ppg and they'll be a playoff team.
And Iverson isn't? :rofl

Not sure about Bosh. He's been playing lights out but in terms of the role, Boozer would fit better with Lebron's play I would think.
Bosh fit's better with the play of people like Kobe and Wade.

Big Z, Shaq and Varejao all have +/- ratings in the positive when they are on the floor. Varejao has the highest +/- rating amongst them (Shaq the lowest, but then he tends to play when the other team has it's 1st team in). He has a niche and he fills it well for the Cavs. There is a reason Lebron wants him on the team. I don't like his flopping, but he is an energy guy and has passion.
EDIT: I stand by my comments on the Celtics. They beat the Lakers (healthy), and they've beat the Hawks (healthy)--twice. The Hawks have beaten the Celtics 3 times in the last month.
In a 7 game series, things change up :)
I am still going to pick the Magic and the Celtics over Cleveland simply because those teams are built for the playoffs. The Hawks in-fact might even have a good chance against the Cavs.
Also, note that the 2nd game of the 2 that the Hawks lost was a complete cop-out.

I watched that game. No way in hell did Cleveland deserve to get to the free-throw line that many times. The Hawks were not shooting only jumpers. Lebron made as many free-throws as the entire Hawks team, and took 1 more. Completely bogus.
The refs GAVE the game to the Cavs in the most pathetic way possible.

Bosh is a well rounded ball player. I think that he would be a good fit with LeBron. 4 years ago, no one could see Paul Pierce, KG, and Allen together either. All three are superstars in their own right.

I will concur with you here. LeBron see a bigger picture and any of us do. That's including TygerWoody. ;)

Come on. the Magic is not performing even CLOSE to what they were doing a year ago. Heck, for that matter, the Celts ain't either. The only consistent team is Cleveland out of the big four teams in the league (Boston, Orlando, LA, Cleveland)

One thing I've learned is that you can't EVER blame a loss on the refs. if you play better than the other team, then the refs couldn't keep it close. I'm not saying that the refs was not officiating poorly, all I'm saying is that the Hawks should never have had the game placed in the ref's hands. ;)

It's not that I can't see them playing together. I just can't see him being more beneficial than Boozer because of how both play. I didn't mean to imply anything else.
I will concur with you here. LeBron see a bigger picture and any of us do. That's including TygerWoody. ;)
Per Woody, all Lebron needs is Iverson on his team :bleh: Zelda would say Steve Nash :bleh:

Considering the injuries on the team (Nelson, Carter), suspensions (Rashard) and other issues they have faced, I think they have done a phenomenal job so far. The team is a lot deeper than people give them credit for. I have been very impressed with the TEAM play from the Magic.

Yes, you can :)
If anyone watched that game, it was painfully clear. The Hawks did everything and dominated or matched the Cavs across the stat-sheet. Hell they even shot the ball better. But, this isn't the Lakers when Shaq was dropping 30 and pulling down 20 boards and getting fouled 20 times. This is Cleveland.
Cleveland was getting whacked about and then magically the fouls and free-throws started being called in the 4th and voila. A 20-ish free-throw attempt disparity in a 5 point game. I think I can safely blame THAT loss on the refs :)
Looks like the injuries and weight of carrying the team while Gasol has been out has finally caught up with Bryant. I almost felt pain watching him walking around on the court :(
On the flip-side, some great games today :D
The spurs/thunder, I should have really watched that one :D Over-time win for the spurs (flying under the radar? they won without Tim Duncan).
Indiana came back against the Suns, good win there and the Hornets are finally rounding into shape with Paul having yet another dominant game :D I think his assist - TO ratio is like 5-1 or something ridiculous like that :D
Wow, some amazing finishes the last couple of nights in the NBA.
First, Cleveland losing to a last second 3 point shot last night. And tonight, the Suns losing to the Hawks on another last second 3 point shot. Really fun to watch :D
-edit-
Btw, I am watching the Blazers/Orlando game and I find myself rooting for the Blazers :D
They have been through so much and yet, they are still playing hard. That's what team-work is all about. Good job

Go Blazers! Hopefully Martell stays hot from 3's... and Rudy gets hot...

Wow, Roy-less Blazers have dominated the game from the tip. Orlando looks terrible... Maybe Boston, Cleveland, and Atlanta are really the only teams in the east.
Orlando has had it's own injury problems, but they played with no energy. It was an awful display. Still, they maintain a good record.
-edit-
Btw, Gasol is back in the line-up and my goodness the Lakers are SO much better with him healthy and Kobe at least 50%.
