Is anyone using it? If so, what are your thoughts?
Hypervisor is pretty decent.
The Hyper V variant is probably a little easier to handle/use than earlier versions of hypervisor I guess :)
I don't use it directly myself. :(

Wrong forum! :headexplode:
I haven't used the Hyper-V for Windows 2008 yet, but I've been doing quite a bit with Vmware ESXi. Really liking that so far.

Using it since the msdn launch.
Excellent product, R2 version is a little bit better.
I run it on a fujitsu blade with windows server 2008 datacenter and as standalone hypervisor with the free hyper-v server product.
Nice performance and cost.
As every other product, I can always find something to improve and so on, but it's a good solution.

It's cause DD doesn't know the difference between networking and operating systems...

Actually, Hyper-V is a role that sits on top of the OS...:p
Here's another ???: If I have several servers that will be used in Hyper-V, will I need licenses for each one that is using Server 2K8?

Man, I really want to get into the stuff ya'll are talkin' about. But servers and large-scale-networking are things I've just not had time nor money to focus on. :(
