Few sites did post the same, most speculate it might be the dual GPU HD 5850 X2 & 5870 X2
Guru3D (http://www.guru3d.com/news/ati-radeon-5900-entry-spotted-/) Well well well .. ATI is surely paving their way into DX11 land. Check out these entries we found in a recent driver. It's clear that ATI is preparing the Radeon 5900 series to match NVIDIA's upcoming Fermi release.

It 'could' be the 5870 X2 being positioned under this device ID, but in some drivers these entries already can be found:

"ATI Radeon HD 5900 Series" = ati2mtag_Evergreen, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_689C
"ATI Radeon HD 5900 Series " = ati2mtag_Evergreen, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_689D

It's not a bad idea. With the upcoming release of both the 5870x2 and GT300 it is going to be good for us, the consumer.

Not so convinced that this will be a faster cars like 4890 was to 4870, most likely 5870x2 under a alternate name.

However, a faster card would be more than welcome :)
