The game isn't all that great and no amount of DX11 enabled flags will help the dull gameplay. Now I'm saying that as a fan of traditional rally games. If you liked Dirt then you'll like this game. Hopefully some wonderful person will produce a hack to get rid of the piss filter and ludicrous amounts of bloom and lens flare this game has (Codemasters outdone themselves with it).

Missing is the mud and Dirt on the cars. That's if you want real.

When you're driving you're not going to be looking into the crowds or staring at water ripples or watching flags fulttering in the air. They should have just released it dx9 or dx10.

It's really a great game on the ps3. Can't wait to see it on the PC but hope the wait is not so long I don't care anymore.

Its the details that complete a package, the crowd and flag doesnt make too much difference in a game like this imo, but the water definently will.

Also, lol at old thread hate.

Agreed. When actually racing one would have to be purposely looking for these small added differences. Only in the replays does this DX11 make the game slightly more appealing. They should of just done a patch with DX11 in it instead of this lame delay.

Dec 1st for USA is release btw.

It looks like DX11 is having a much nicer startup than DX10 had

Probably cause everyone hated vista and not so with 7.

Don't really think you see the water-ripples as you drive through the pools. The crowd imho is the one you'll notice the most.

Colin McRae games have always had an excellent replay system, those new water effects while shine on replays, but as you said, not while you are driving. However when racing against other cars (not in rally mode) you will be able to see their ripples
