My result at the same settings, clocks on the GTX580's at stock(Triple SLI), dual socket EVGA Classified SR-2 motherboard with a pair of Xeon's at 3.8 Ghz...

Nice....At least i know i'm where i should be performance wise relative to single socket systems, and that the extra cores in the heaven demo make no difference in this case....

True, but what if i told you that in 3Dmark 11, my setup can score the same in the physics test and combined rendering test as a 980x clocked at 6.2Ghz(yes, liquid nitrogen land.:D), and using 4 GTX580's running at 1250/2500 clocks...

That's a result from the previous version of 3dmark(very nice btw)....Where's the result from 3Dmark 11?


There's also the combined test run where i'm only 4 Fps from the highest result ever recorded in 3Dmark's database...:D

Besides, you'd need to buy this specific motherboard, since there isn't any other on the market that support dual Xeons, can use standard unbuffered DDR memory(up to 48GB of it), supports either Quad crossfire or Quad SLI(using 4 seperate cards in either case), and overclocks like the best single socket boards out there....


EVGA deserves some serious kudos to design a board like this.....:D
