Do you smoke?

Well, after about 8 years of smoking cigarettes, I am thinking of quitting. I think this is a good time as it's summer, hot outside and so I can't really open my windows as the humidity in NY is too much. All I can do is blast the AC, but that doesn't get rid of all the smoke in my room and so it becomes kinda stuffy in here. (I think anyone who has been to my house knows what I'm talkin about :p )

Well, I was just wondering how many of you here smoke cigarettes :)

I was asthmatic when I was younger... still have bouts and one of the triggers was cigarette smoke... :)

that and the fact I think it is a terrible drain on my money situation..

I did from about age 18 to age 27, but quit when my wife got pregnant. I never smoked in our house, I always went outside...but I quit when she got pregnant.

I used the patch, and still f-ing do as I generally break down every couple of months or so when I stress out and buy a pack of smokes....but I never give up on the quitting either. :rolleyes:

Cigarettes are a bitch, give 'em up now as it ain't never gonna get easier and you're going to want to quit SOME day! ;)

Yeah, I've been trying to quit a couple of times. But when so many people around you smoke, it's a hard habit to break. I hope this time it will last. ;)

good luck... I've smoked for 11 years... I tried the patch last year and I accidentally used ones that were too strong... I got the gist of the patch and it benifited me, but they were just too strong. Next time I try the patch, and dose CORRECTLY, I may just be able to FINALLY ditch the stupid habit...

I don't smoke cigarettes anymore and hope never to again, but the happy lil one-hits sneaked outside are an entirely different matter! :eek:

I smoked a few times but didn't like it. I did how ever love to smoke cigars....pretty much anything havana seed I smoked. Alas I don't do that any more either. Well actually I only did it while out witht the guys.

Why do people do this. It is as if smokers have a God give right to throw their ash tray out on to the street and the rest of us have to put up with this littering.
