View Full Version : Did anyone who order an eVGA 5900 Ultra get a messed up DVI to VGA

this is the first one ive had so. But it looks like its missing pins. Is it sposed to look like that?

I will have to unplug mine and see if the pins are missing... but if it works you are fine :)

The one that came with my brother 9800 Pro has all the pins. Ive never used the DVI thing before as i said can i plug it into an analog monitor.

It's an adapter to allow you to carry the analogue signal out through the DVI connector.

If you think about it, it doesn't need the 24 odd pins for the digital signal only the 5 or so odd pins to carry the R,G,B, sync and ground.

Just a cheap adapter and a bit of cost cutting , that's all.

my ati adaptor has all the pins, but my DVI cable goin to my LCD monitor has some missing in the middle....
