...and older guys? I saw two of my ex gf's at different parties today, and they're both going out with 23 year olds. I'm 18 btw and one is 18 and the other is 17. It really made me feel like ****, not once, but twice. What gives?

who knows, maybe we just look better:p

wouldn't know, I'm always the one who gets rid of the girl and not vice versa:D

women like older guys, men like younger girls. As men get older they tend to look more masculine than boyish, their muscles grow etc, and as long as they avoid that beer belly they looks improve with age. Women just get fatter with age, and their skin gets worse. They also lose their dress sense and cut their hair short.

It just sucks, since now that I'm 18, younger girls are illegal. :D

Actually, statutory laws in a lot of states say 16..

Nope, determined entirely by the state.

You can get married at I think 13 in Alabama. Younger with parental consent...

rofl, I remember one case where some kid married his friend's mom:lol:

had no idea, I've heard of those getting married and junk laws, but I thought that that was something seperate from the statuatory laws. Oh well, you learn something new everyday:D

That's a bummer :|
I remember the same thing in high school though. girls would talk about how old their new bf's are. At the time I was about 17 or 18 and the girls my age were goin out with guys who were like 25 or somethin. It's just the way it goes.

I wouldn't worry about it. They will end up with 3 kids by the time they are 22 devorced and move from guy to guy. Seen it happen many times with girls that age going for older guys. Besides I don't think you become a adulty till you are at least 27. Sorry all you early 20 somethings. ;) This is a common opinion by older guys who look back at their 20's. I know I was free in my early 20's and screwed around most the time. Sure I would work but heck I ha no responsibilities other than paying rent. :D

...I have noticed more chicks checking me out lately since I got some grey in me hair.

Seriously, going to the parks in the summer with the kids is a trip for me. A bunch of mom's keep finding excuses to chat with me. Single-mom's DIG stay-at-home Dad types. (But the Dig always faithful to his wife in word, thought, and deed. Marriage is forever, as is me love for me lady. ;) )

Ever since I got into me 30's I have noticed a much more positive reaction from females, I think it's mainly a confidence thing. I didn't know really who I was or what I was about until I was around 27-28, but once I figured it all out I was suddenly real comfortable just being myself....I found out who I was and the damndest thing was I really liked myself. :D

It gives you a confidence that is hard to fake, although I had tried for YEARS to. The real thing is different, you'll know it when you get there.

If it's any consolation, it used to drive me NUTS how chicks used to flock to the older men when I was younger....I think it's just part of the ritual of growing up.

Hang in there, you'll make it. :)

err im talking about women under 40, obviously. and I do like older women because they are more mature, weigh more and have more curves :D

"I tell ya, whats with them and chopping their hair off? Are they trying to look uglier?"

maybe their long hair gets in their face or makes their head too warm, but I love long hair on women though!

"It just sucks, since now that I'm 18, younger girls are illegal."

technically yes, but if you sleep with them your getting busted. If you just hold hands, kiss em on the cheek, give em back rubs and cuddle but nothing more, you probably wont have much of a problem

"you sure? I thought it was a federal law or something?"

It is and federal law overrides state law, so ignore what laws your state says, under 18=stay away!

"I was about 17 or 18 and the girls my age were goin out with guys who were like 25 or somethin. It's just the way it goes."

ugh if I were 25 I wouldnt waste my time on immature teens, id go for REAL women!

"me thinks older women likey da younger dood..."

a lucky guy is one whos like 20 dating a 25 year old chick who weighs..180 :)

**Seconds the motion** what is it with short hair anyway.... geez. All I've really noticed is that when I head to the clubs, I get flocked too. Told thsi one girl I was married, she came back with, "I don't care". I was kinda at a loss for words after that.

I will say that being a single dad with a 4 year old who is cute as a button with his long eye lashes and dimples women always come up to me in the grocery store or the mall. I get lots of phone numbers when he is with me. Of course all the women are 30 something, cuz 20 somethings don't like the baggage. 30 somethings feel like they are at the end of the line at getting married and having children.
