I wont bother pasting the whole article, as it is mostly "Nvidia smells like farts!" style playground invective
relevant points:
Fermi A2 taped out
Charlie thinks boards could be shown in 2009
also thinks A3 will be required, significant availability in Q1 or possibly Q2 2010

Funny how Charlie never mentions how miserable the 5800 yields are (they are bad now, they must have been even worse when they were at the stage GT300 is in right now) or why they are in such short supply :P Obviously both ATI and Nvidia are having problems with 40nm yields. If production doesn't improve for ATI I think they will be missing out on this window of opportunity they have over Nvidia.

the ironic thing is that Jen Hsun Huang used to design chips for AMD.

Well ATI themselves said that they hadn't expected this kind of a demand, so obviously they don't have enough cards. I wouldn't say that their yields are miserable, but far from what they should be(the price increase of the 5850 tells us everything). The demand is ridiculous, almost as bad as with the nintendo Wii when it came out(of the graphics world of course); people ripping them from the retailers hands as soon as they get some in stock. One store I know got over 100 cards one day and they sold out in 5 minutes.
