Rending "pausing" with 191.07

I've been playing Torchlight and Dragon Age, and I'm having this problem where the games stop responding to input and the rendering pauses. Game logic continues, however, and when I ctrl-alt-del (and then cancel), the rendering resumes. Any ideas what's causing this? Temperatures are good (70C, and these cards will do over 80C before having problems).

I had a similar problem with Vista and the 18x series drivers with CoD:MW, but that resulted in a hardlock...

I've had the same problem for a long time now since I got my 9800GTX. I even RMA'd the card and the issue still persists. I thought my problem could have been my nforce i780 systemboard but apparently you have it with a x58 chipset. Anyone know the solution?

These drivers have a tendency to kill motherboards with Nvidia chipsets, and boards with NF200 in them, like the EVGA X58 Classified.
