375x10 works fine

416x9 isn't working

This should be the other way around, What gives?

Is there something about using the x10 multiplier that avoids the hole or am I massively overclocking my chipset and doing it damage while thinking all is well?

Are you keeping the voltages the same? Try bumping northbridge, fsb, and maybe even cpu/mem voltage a notch and see if it helps. I doubt its the multiplier that is the issue but rather the increased stress on the NB/ram imho

yea that is weird... im running 401x9... anything in the 350-400 range doesnt work for me... my NB voltage is 1.45V

when I had my e6400 @ 3.69 ghz high fsb wasn't a problem.

It may just need some ram tinkering.

I use 400x8 flat, no problems.
