4 Gig Mem VISTA 32
2.8 G Intel /ASUS PN sli e MOBO
8800 GTS NVIDIA 640 OEM
No ovrclocking.
My system is almost 3 years old with no problems after about 2 hours into my COD WAW marathon... the Graphics hicupped and kicked me out of the game... I rebooted and got the fabled NVLDDMKM.sys BSOD.
Here's the twist... my BIOS startup screen has fuzzy white translucent vertical bars across the left half of the screen. they re-appear when the Vista startup screen begins. AS per usual I can use my computer if nvidia drivers are not installed and it also works in 640*480 mode
First I think this is a memory issue with my 8800 GTS. All I want to know is there a diagnostic for this card and can I swap out the memory ? This looks like a hardware issue.
This is totally the pits to pay all this money to have it crap out after 3 years.
And I always enjoy kicking CaptKiLLs butt in GRAW2!!! (sachmo):(http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/images/smilies/frown.gif
