Bought 2 of them just now,as i have a friend buying my current cards,so the price doesn't hurt as much as it would otherwise at 1500$ Canadian with taxes and delivery for a pair....Insane i know,but that much graphics power will make any game it's personal ***** for quite a long time,regardless of settings played at...:D

I just ordered one, can't use the third PCI-E slot for dual slot cards on my ASUS Rampage II Extreme. That probably prevented me from being insane. :)

Hence why i made sure that when i bought the motherboard for the i7 upgrade,i made sure it had 3 PCI-e slots that could potentially handle either 3 dual slot video cards,and support both crossfire and SLI setups...Covering my bases basically.


It came down to the Gigabyte X58 UD5 as the perfect choice,and it's been running the i7 now for over 6 months at 4.2 Ghz without complaint....The screwed up part,it still won't be enough to uncork all the speed out of the HD5870 Quad crossfire setup anyhow....:D


I need a 6 core Gulfstream now.
