no color on plasma tv any suggestions

Ok i got a samsung 50 inch HDTV Model A450

I got no color when wathing anything on DVR or cable broadcast, i have a time warner Explorer 8300HDC

Now I also have a PS3 and a Wii and they both work fine

so i switched HDMI cables around and what port the cable box is plugged into and also tried using comp cables and still it keeps showing up with no color and mostly the screen is just all white

does anyone have any other idea i can try? only other thing left i can think is a bad box? could it still be a bad TV

nm i figured it out...just needed to reboot my cable box...should have tried that first just did not think rebooting would bring back color

i have never ever seen anything like this but then again those explorer 8300 HDC are buggy to hell so i guess anything is possible just gave me a very big scare that my TV is going to die
