Buying 3 monitors for Eyefinity tomorrow.

I'm looking for:

23 inch or bigger
1920x1200 or 2048x1152. maybe 1920x1080
Monitors that would look good close together (Simi thin bezel)
Around $200 (I have to buy the active displayport adapter too)
Best quality and view angle I can get for that amount

What I dont want:
(anything from dells store)

I had originally bought two Dell P2310H 23" to go with my Samsung but I canceled my order after a month of waiting.

I was looking between getting

SAMSUNG 2343BWX Black 23"

Gateway FHD2401 Black 24"
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824113019

ASUS VW246H Black 24" 2ms
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236049

I also play in a mostly dark room. Glare wont be a problem.

What do you think?

Edit: I think im leaning towards the Gateway FHD2401

The 28" Hanns-G is $100 more, but for the price it can't be beat. If there's a costco near you, buy it from them cause the return policy for monitors is unbeatable. ;)

The bezel looks way too thick for eyefinity use. Looks like a nice monitor but $100 = $300 more too. 28" is nice tho. Ill check out some reviews for it.

I have the Asus VW246H and I can vouch for it being a nice display. I'd buy one again for our other computer if it's monitor goes out.

I was almost going to get the gateway but I read too many bad reviews about dead monitors or red dots and was worried about getting a bad monitor.

I went with the Asus because it seemed like a better chance of getting 3 great quality monitors. And the bezels seem the best. The only thing I didnt like about the Asus was only 1920x1080p but im sure I wont mind too much :D

Thanks for all your help ill be sure to post a ton of pictures.

I got the Samsung 2343 and its amazing, I can have two sites side by side without needing to scroll sideways at all.

The clarity is great aswell. So recommend this monitor.

I like my Asus. The image quality isn't amazing by any stretch of the imagination (due to it being a TN LCD), but its solid.

The only other thing I'd recommend looking into is maybe one of the 1080P IPS panels. I think NEC and Viewsonic both have them. They're over $300 though.

Good luck with your new monitors.

I love my 2 x Gateway FHD2400's. I may end up getting a third one someday. I bought one when they first came out, then I bought a second one refurbished from Tigerdirect. I have yet to see any monitor that I would take over either of my Gateways. The touch panel controls are the greatest thing ever - all monitors should have the same.

The difference between the FHD2400 and the FHD2401 is the 2400's have USB hubs....not sure why they stopped putting in the hubs.

Theres a Displayport adapter?

Yes but it must be an active displayport adapter to work with this.
