Next gen card PSU? [Archive]

Im gonna probably get one of the next gen cards that come out, As you can see by my sig my psu is not really up to it lol. (After Christmas im gonna invest in a psu)

Now ive been thinking of keeping my current 260 to use as a physics card, Do you reckon it will be worth it with the next gen cards? Or will they be good enough not to need a dedicated physics card? .... Maybe nobody truly knows yet until they are release!

Anyway back to my main question, What size/power psu do you guys reckon one of the new/next gen gfx cards is gonna need? (take in mind if its worth using the 260 i might be running that also)

Using the 260 is wasteful in all aspects and will push up your power requirement unnecessarily.

Can you get Corsair in the UK ? an 850w + would be my choice.

just make sure you get moduler. it costs more but trust me its worth it.

Why would a modular be worth extra money? The only benefit is having less things plugged in but if you can route your wires well in your case I don't see how it's worth it. Is there any other benefit to it?
