Amazing these new ATI cards are running these games at playable frames at these high resolutions. Definite gameplay advantage, epsecially for flight/racing games and fps unless the server restricts fov.

The bezels of the monitors would kill the immersion for me.
If I ever did something like this, it'd be with projectors where there's no border on the image. They should then be able to be meshed together seamlessly. :) Now THAT would be awesome. :) :p

I'm surprised there aren't more ultra thin bezeled monitors out there. I looked some up but they all had really low resolutions.
BTW they did the projector eyefinity at hardocp's eyefinity challenge in Dallas.

Its been talked about time and time over on Hard OCP every person that thought the bezels kill it that went to the eyefinity challange had a completely diffrent point of view after using it.
Its something you have to experience.
Ill try and make my own review when my monitors get here.
SLS may not be practical for desktop usage in landscape mode but for gaming as you can see it's awesome!!!! Some prefer the portrait view but I like having the extra fov if the game allows it. 30" monitors would be too many pixels to push if you like to run the newer games at close to 60fps. Personally, I would get a 5970 if you can find one and (3) Dell 2709Ws. And a second 5970 down the road when ATI adds xfire to eyefnity. The Dell U2410 has too many QA problems. Don't set it up with TN panels.

That's exactly what I have read on widescreen gaming forums. They did a poll a couple of years ago for their Triple Head users, and over 95% of people voted that bezels don't matter at all when you are gaming. You simply "don't see them".
I find it hard to believe, but I wouldn't mind to give it a try. Unfortunately I don't have space to put a 3 monitor setup at home, but I hope I can do it in the future.

As the Eyefinity catches on (hopefully be more affordable) some more companies might introduce monitors with out the edges (bezels) HP. Dell, Samsung.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have to admit being a 3dvision/Nvidia supporter, eyefinity is pretty cool as well. Hopefully both these technologies eventually merge.
that video actually would be a perfect showpiece for 3dvision for the pop out effect if the developer implemented it correctly. man if Nvidia had some kind of eyefinity support in their fermi cards + 3dvision, hoo doggie!!!!!
