Pfffft... nVidia linked the 195.55 drivers on the 195.62 page for 64-bit. The correct link is here (http://www.nvidia.com/content/DriverDownload-March2009/confirmation.php?url=/Windows/195.62/195.62_desktop_win7_winvista_64bit_english.exe&lang=us&type=GeForce).

Is somebody using these drivers with Photoshop CS4 x64? With OpenGL acceleration enabled, it is constantly crashing... :( Previous releases did the same.

@ LovingSticky
I always had crashing issues with enabled OpenGL in CS4 ... For the time being I'm sticking with CS3 which is IMO ALOT faster and stable...

@ Topic
Downloading, let's see how they perform with Fallout 3, Dragon Age Origins and Modern Warfare 2 ... Never had a newer Driver on my system than 191 ... Curious how those work now ...

CS4 was working fine for me with 190.xx and earlier drivers. But since NVIDIA 191.07 WHQL it is crashing. I am even considering going back to good old NVIDIA 190.62 WHQL.

L4D2 working great so far... Average FPS is like 90 @ 1440x900 all max 16xAA and 16xAF ... 16xAA is a little much for that Resolution, but I'm just testing xD

I have been using the 195.55 without any crashes, but then I never had crashes before so.

LOL. For them to actually say it in the changelog is pretty damn bold. All this time I see people teliing those with issues to reformat or reinstall the game, and I laughed. Now they can see the changelog themselves and say "pwnt".

Must give these a try since my ION Netbook is on it's way anyways. :D

funny how they mention " occasional frame drop " so every few seconds is occasional?

so did anyone actually try it?

Quick review with the stuff I got installed so far.

Tested with Adobe CS4, and acceleration is fine.

Running Fine
Borderlands — Still has strange framerate dips and stutters when viewing dropped items (not cash). Overall better FPS though.
Dragon Age — Huge improvement! Very fluid FPS with these.
Left 4 Dead — Huge improvement with max fps. Nearly got sick because it was so smooth.
Mirror's Edge — Huge improvement! Nearly maxed out framerate with these and 9.0.030 PhysX.

Running Weird
Mass Effect — Strange, hard stutters. Loading screen was green. Had to verify download again through Steam and defragment the cache, and it performed a bit better. Reset the config files and ran it again.

Keeping these drivers for now as they perform quite well and I don't have to revert to the 18.xx and 187.xx drivers for various games and performance. :)

What version of PhysX comes with this driver?

Fallout 3 is indeed fixed.

And by that I mean the hard stutters are gone. The game itself is still sluggish, but that is typical Bethesda and not driver related.

The last release candidate crashed GTA 4 and PES 2010 on start, so it will be fun to see if these ones let you play all games or not.

it only happened on the first run of the game, it was most likelly shader cache issue. after first run game worked fine

I tried GTA 4 three times and all times I got to the menu but it crashed on level load. Reinstalling the WHQL drivers solved it.
