In some games/apps, I sometimes get a single verticle row of pixels along the left hand side of the screen, or top of the screen, when AA is enabled in any form (Det 44.03). Some examples - Warcraft3 demo (line on side of screen when there is a fade in), 3dmark 2001 SE (line on side and top during first two tests). If AA is disabled, the lines go away. Any ideas?

Currently using an FX5800, will be upgrading to a FX5900 later this week.

are you using a lcd or crt monitor? I've got an lcd and the DVI causes this problem in Morrowind big time and to a lesser extent other games. I get the line across the top. det 44.03 here on a 5900 ultra.

Noticed that myself with 44.03, haven't had time to try 44.65 and see what happens.

It does it on mine when BF1942 starts ups. with 44.03's 44.61's and 44.65's. It also does it on my Bro's 9800 Pro

Those pixel rows are normal and not a bug/glitch/whatever. Due to way how AA is calculated a fine row of pixel can be seen on the left hand side of the screen and along the top border.

Sometimes those rows are not visible but other times they are quite noticeable like during cut-scenes where the upper and lower part of the screen is black to simulate the widescreen movie feeling...

Nothing can be done to prevent this except disabling AA :)
