Starting to look for a new laptop, and have set my sights on a touch screen this time around.
(I am sure many if not most will say "boo hiss" but it is what I want...)

And I am down to two with a third in the wings if it is officially announced.

My first choice is the Dell Studio 17 with multi touch HERE (http://www.dell.com/us/en/home/studio-17-touch/fs.aspx?refid=studio-17-touch&s=dhs&cs=19)

Now the one I am looking at which they are hiding has an i7 processor, and either a Radeon HD 4570 or 4650.

Pro:i7, great screen, hdmi, horsepower Cons: not really portable, battery life

Second choice HP Touchsmart Tx2Z HERE (http://www.hp.com/united-states/campaigns/touchsmart/#/TouchSmart-Tx2)

I really like the swivel screen, I like the tablet feature.
The problem is, the processor selection sucks for long term, battery life is not very good , no hdmi and mediocre reviews.

The last is the HP DV3 Touch Leaked HERE (http://www.engadget.com/2009/09/28/touchscreen-hp-pavilion-dv3-leaks-out-brings-dm1-ultraportable/)

Seems to have a nice screen, hdmi, portable, light, decent gpu, and hopefully decent intel chip choices and I can not see any downsides from the specs anyway.
Just the question as to HP announcing it here.

Any input or suggestions would be appreciated.
Trying to stay under $1200 or near (because I will be getting two)...
