Screeners may get x-ray vision (http://www.cnn.com/2003/TECH/ptech/06/26/seethru.security.ap/index.html)

The new scanners expose more than some would like. Does this give us more security as it could detect plastic weapons and substances used for explosives?
Do you care if you're exposed for a couple of secs for your own security?

bah, if someone at the airport scanner wants to check out my naked bod on a screen let them, heck, I might even let them print out a copy for themselves;)

Whatever happened to that 4th Amendment, you know the one against unlawful search an siezures? Could've sworn that might apply when elctronically strip searching people...

What are you babbling about, can you leave religion out of this thread as it has no relevance here. Go thump your bible in another thread:p

What the hell? He mentions abstinence and automatically you're equating that with some sort of bible thumping? That is one helluva stretch there man...

Well, they already xray your baggage and have done so for a long time now. You would have them remove the xray machines and not scan your luggage either?

I'd love to fly on your airline. Make sure to bring parachutes...

Honestly though, I'm not so sure I'm crazy about this new idea. It might be taking it a little to far, IMHO...

The guy has been preaching to psychosy in another thread and kind of obviously took the oppurtunity to do it here too. His comment of a tatoo with a pregnant 16 year old has no relevance to this thread whatsoever.

I don't think it's obvious preaching at all. No mention of God, the bible, or anything in that post. But whatever...

And like security at the airport has anything to do with sodomizing someone with a middle finger.

X-rays so you can see through people, and think about the character references;)

*****Warning!! Extremely low blow on the way!!*****

What happens if that kid happened to be pregnant because of the actions of a priest who abused children?

I still think it's quite the stretch in my mind. But no sense in getting into a pissing match on this, we'll just have to agree to disagree eh? :D

I could agree to disagree:D

As for the scanners, I can see no major problems really. It's not really a invasion of privacy since they won't really be paying attention to what you had for lunch:D
