Will a Corsair 1000W handle SLI-295's?
I've seen conflicting reports.

Meth I taxed the hell out of my 1200 watt PSU with two 3870 X2 and also with quad SLI 9800 GX2s on a Skulltrail system (I use a Killawatt built into a power strip to always monitor my real power draw). It got right up to 1k. Well, at that time I had a 40" LCD monitor also plugged in as well as my network gear. Maybe 21 fans? two pumps.
You can borrow my wall Kill-a-watt meter if you want to test your setup out.

I have the rig in my sig, plus 3HDDs, 5-6 fans total.
No monitor, 7 less fans, and no pumps.

I can get one for cheap.
I have a PC Power and Cooling 910 that runs two GTX 295's great. That's with the same processor (and overclock), same motherboard, same amount of memory, etc.
The Corsair you have isn't as efficient as the PC P&C 910, but it has an extra 6a on the 12 rail so that should even it out a bit.
