The 9.12 drivers are officially released at AMD support site, maybe KasuCode should update the link, since the download is much faster and more options are available to choose the right driver
http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx
EDIT
ATI Catalyst 9.12 Hotfix was also released today, read more about the 9.12 Hotfix and driver downloads here (http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/ATICatalyst912Hotfix.aspx)
Hotfix that resolves the mouse being enlarged under Windows® 7, improves performance of OpenGL games, Provides CrossFireX™ support for Eyefinity & Provides support for OpenCL
Problem Description:
· Performance drop is observed with a supported ATI CrossFireX™ configuration when using the thermal scope while playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare
· Performance drop during the opening cinematic of Resident Evil 5
· Wheelman freezes while loading the game menu and can't play further
· The desktop mouse cursor becomes enlarged at random while using Windows 7
· Flashing in various OpenGL titles – City of Heroes, Enemy Territories: Quake Wars, Riddick
· Heaven benchmark (DirectX 9 mode) – Grass flickers and white boarders observed around the edges
· DTS-HD and Dolby True-HD not working properly with certain receivers while using HDMI connection on ATI Radeon™ HD 5000 Series
Note! This driver is provided as is and is not supported by AMD. It has not completed full AMD testing, and is only recommended for users experiencing the particular issue described above.
The Hotfix links are now working.

Guess what? I installed my card including the first driver 20min before this driver went online... :p
So far it's good. Can't compare it to any other driver but tested DX11 with Dirt 2 and Stalker CoP and DX10 with RE5. No issues so far, even my Samsung LCD TV doesn't cause any problems unlike last year :D

Nice to hear it works on your TV. I also didn't need to do any additional settings for the 1080p. I deleted the ATI folder and also deleted the 2 ATI user folders, which keeps all the settings plus profiles. Every time I did that before I had to reset the 1080p again but not this time. No idea which driver fixed it.
Hope you also will have good gaming experience.

The hotfix driver crashes instantly while watching a HD YouTube video using the GPU accelerated Flash 10.1 beta :thumbdwn:
Also I'm having trouble with movie playback in MPC. VLC is a bit better but also artifacts pretty often. In MPC the screen even goes black, brown or white for a short period of time while the driver recovers.
think i will stick to the 9.10 for now...

I run the normal 9.12 official and dont have any of these issues. playback works great. Ill wait for 10.1 before I use the hotfix.

Never mind. HD videos do blank to green or brown at times on Youtube with 9.12 hotfix and flash 10.1 beta. Restarting it or toggling to low quality then back fixes it at times. It is hit and miss.
I haven't experimented with the flash 10.1 beta a lot. I'll try more later and see how frequent it occurs for me. So far it happened once in four videos. When I toggled to normal then back to HD and restarted the one problem vid it played through without error.
This was all with firefox. I haven't tried IE8 yet.
Edit:
Definitely hit and miss. Sometimes it's fine and others not. I also tried it with hardware acceleration completely off for comparison and hit 8-19% CPU usage playing the Dark Knight 1080p trailer on Youtube. Without acceleration the videos will run fine if you let them load completely first. If not you'll get pauses.

Well I need the hotfix drivers because they're faster in iRacing ;)
But normal Flash 10 works perfectly. I don't really need the GPU acceleration right now...
Thanks for the feedback, Blacklash.

Is Flash 10.1 even officially supporting AMD cards for acceleration at this time?
So I play a lot of MW2 MP and my card arrives on Tuesday, I should then use the 9.10's for now. Is that correct or the 9.12 with hotfix?

I do have AVIVO installed. I wonder if there is a conflict between it and the 10.1 beta.
AMD does make vague remarks about freeing your CPU while processing HD formats.
http://www.amd.com/us/products/technologies/ati-avivo-hd/Pages/ati-avivo-hd.aspx
In any case, the 1080p Dark Knight clip with 24bit sound seems to be the worst one I've encountered with no acceleration from flash enabled in beta 10.1. Others typically saw 5-14% CPU use.
I haven't had any other issues with the 9.12 hotfix drivers and we are dealing with a that plus a beta program.

Tried the 10.1 beta on my GTX 260 Core 216s with 195.62.
Dark Knight 1080p trailer with 24bit sound was silky smooth, no need to wait for full loading, CPU usage between 4-11% most often single digit.
Works well.
On my HD 5870 without acceleration on, the same trailer does 8-19% CPU usage, and I'm required to wait for a full load or I get occasional pauses and chop.
Colors look washed out with these...nothing is recording on my 2nd card in CCC with the Hotfix.
ATi seem like they go backwards on every driver release.
Back to 9.10s
