The kid was drunk, swerved off the road, and hit our front yard and flipped into the barn. Drunk, too. Bastard.

Drink driving is so lame. What is all that crap on the floor?
that stuff was, at one time, his passenger side front door window.
Best we can put together, the drunken bastard came off the road doing about 40. When he hit the bottom of the embankment, he flipped up on the front passenger side panel and the momentum from his speaker setup carried the back end of the SUV around. It came down at an angle into the side of the shed.
By the time Rachel and I got home, he was handcuffed and being taken away for a night or so in Heartbreak Hotel.

Good place for him! :D
I imagine if he could afford such a kicker box, he can afford decent insurance.

Or take the stereo stuff out the back and throw loads of broken plastic, bent metal, and bits of broken circuit board in there :p

I think we can be thankful that:
1) He didn't actually hit your house, damaging God knows what else
2) His ride is probably totalled now
3) He got caught
I assume you're going to press charges and so forth. Hopefully he won't be driving again for a long while.
When I do my weekly police report gathering, in one of my towns I see so many DUI arrests it's not funny. One dude they arrested had a BAC of .326.
I've had specific requests to see pics of the cops. I have no idea why.

In this next one, that's my house. The 3rd of 4 patrol cars is sortof hidden behind the truck. The woman in the yellow sweater and blue pants in the right side is my wife of a month. Wahoo!
