I have a Quadro FX 500 that I can't get to display DVI output under XFree86. Here is my configuration:

System: Dell Precision 450n
CPUs: dual Xeon + HT enabled
Driver: NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-4363
Distribution: RedHat 9.0 + recent fixes
Card: Quadro FX 500 BIOS 04.34.20.18.13
X server: XFree86 4.3.0

I am using the system in TwinView mode with the DVI/VGA adapter fine. Under the version of Windows 98 on the Dell diagnostic CD, DVI output to the Planar CT1905S monitor works fine, and VGA text mode works under Linux too. However, I can't get DVI output from the X server. It does not make any difference if I boot a SMP or non-SMP kernel.

When I start X I get output on the VGA port, and the Planar reports no signal on the DVI port.

I've attached my XF86Config and the server log files.

My problem was fixed by updating to the 4496 driver version. Thanks!.
