Hey guys, I've just finished building my new computer, and I'm looking for a graphics card (Atm ive got an 8500GT i found in my draw) My max price is 100, but i would really like something around the 60-80 mark (British pounds, not dollars)

My computer takes PCI-E x16.

If your wondering, my comp is using a

Quad Core 2.66
3GB ram
Win XP SP3
650Watt PSU

If you need any more info please say!!

Thanks guys!

Yea, I would say either a 260 or an ATi 4890.

Yeah, I'm not sure exactly how much those cards are in the UK, but a Radeon 4870 or 4890 or a Geforce GTX 260 or 275 would be excellent.

Over here 4890's are around $50 cheaper than GTX275 so if it's similar there then I'd go for the 4890. If they're priced around the same you can't go wrong with either :)

If you want something cheaper then GTX260's and 1GB 4870's are pretty damn price competitive with not all that much of a performance lag behind the refreshes. Again, locally I'd buy the 4870 only because it's $176 vs $220 for the 260. Those prices should transfer to under 100 if your stores over there price them similarly.

5770 1GB would probably be your best bet, it's comparable to the 4870 in performance but the enhanced features and lower power draw would make it an excellent bargain, and I've seen them for ~100 pounds. The 260 and 275 are way overpriced, the 4890 would probably be excellent bang for the buck....but I don't think you'll find one for ~100

sticking to the price limit I'd say a 5750 but If you keep looking on eBay you might find a gtx260 for under 100 but theres nothing at the moment.

An HD 4870 is not good bfb in the UK

Raising your price limit would give you a much better card.
