Audigy Help!

When I play the "SB Audigy Experience" feature-demo that came with my Audigy, everything works fine except the "Advanced 3D Audio" demo (under "Gaming"). I get no sound at all. Ive tried it with original drivers, web update 1, & now web update 2, and still I get nothing (with both DirectX 8.1 & now DX 9.0).

Can anyone that has an Audigy (1) try theirs out and see if it works? Any ideas? What would cause everything to work except this one? Is it indicative of a hardware problem?

P4 2A GHz
Intel 845 GBVL (latest chipset drivers)
SB Audigy (latest drivers)
DirectX 9.0

Well...does EAX work in your games and such?

Yes, seems to work fine. All the other demos work fine, too.

If your EAX is working fine in games then u shouldnt need to worry. When I installed those demos all ofthem worked but were removed after running them, no real use. Im still using my Audigy 1 for gaming, but am using the audigy 2 .383 drivers, theres the new update you might want to get which updates audigy 1's to .383

Already got the 383s, but thanks for the heads-up. I tried that demo with the original CD drivers, the 253s, and now the 383s.
