View Full Version : Overclocking the Leadtek GF 5900 ULTRA?
Hi There
Thanx for the help I've gotten so far with my Leadtek GF 5900 ULTRA :)
Was thinking of checking out the overclock-tab :)
Anyone got any idea of how much one could go. I'm aware of the fact that one should do a few MHz at a time. but I was just wondering so I could have some specs to follow.
Thanx for any answer that may come.

You may or may not get close, but half way is reasonable to expect IMO.
That's the non-ULTRA...
Would need info about overclocking the ULTRA...?

just go with oc technics +5MHz and so on... untill you start geting artifacts or lockups then go down -5MHz and see what you get at the end...
you should be able to get ~520/960~ for the ultra.

if you wanna longer the cards life (which is stupid due to the fact that cards can hold up to 8-10years) then underclock 15-10 MHz from the point you started geting the artifacts or the lockups.
enjoy the Oc moreover enjoy the card :)
