This is kind of frivolous, but I built my new computer last week, and made my own logo to display in the General tab in the My Computer properties window. I had changed the logo on my previous computer, but the picture won’t show up on my new one. I can put it in my old computer’s window, but that computer came from the manufacturer with a logo already in. The one I build has no pic, and I tried to put my new image in C:\windows\system32, like it was on my other computer………but the image won’t show up. Do I have to change a value in the registry or some other setting to make it display?

P.S. The image is the correct size and dimensions, and it did work in my old computer. Both run Windows XP.

I dont know what you need to do in the registry, but you can go here (http://www.totalidea.de/tweakxpdown.shtml) and dl a trial version of tweakxp, there is a tweak in there that will let you add all that oem info and you can add a pic and everything ;)
