Windows 2000 Compatibility util, post-sp3

Quick tip!

How does one enable Windows2000 Compatibility Util (the tab, etc)?

If you install SP3 BEFORE installing the sp2-era compatibility update, you won't get the tab.

Here's how to do it if you did the above.


Start> Run, then type this:

regsvr32 %systemroot%\apppatch\slayerui.dll



Where %systemroot% is your windows directory. (example: C:\Winnt)


(example: regsvr32 c:\winnt\apppatch\slayerui.dll)

Just click OK, and you'll get the compatibility tab!
