I can't find S/PDIF on my graphics card.
But I have HDMI port and I connected it with my TV.

Is that possible to have audio on TV without graphics card be connected with motherboard with S/PDIF ?

My TV turner on other PC has audio over PCI option.

I with to do it in Windows 7.

I seem some screenshorts and people has HD TV in sound device list.

I have Speakers, Headphones (no plugged in), Digital audio (S/PDIF)

When I set speakers as default device I hear sound in speakers, when I set spdif I hear nothing. There is no TV as sound device as I saw somewhere.

Please, help

Thanks, Max

yes, some video cards support sound through hdmi. Those do not require any connection to the motherboard.

That feature depends highly on which chipset you have in your card.
My ATI HD4850 has it (and i'm using it).

according to nvidia ( http://www.nvidia.com/object/product_geforce_9500gt_us.html ), your chipset requires the SPDIF connection for sound on HDMI. If your card does not have this port, then you will not be able to place sound on HDMI.

The only other way to do it would be to run optical or coaxial spdif from your sound card to a converter box that combines HDMI video and digital audio into a single HDMI. My brother is doing this since his 8800GTX doesn't support SPDIF pass through.
