Hey, have any of you played indoor soccer? I play regular soccer, but recently I have been slacking on running daily, and I started to gain a bit of a gut. So I thought I need to be more active. So I signed up for indoor soccer with my friends.

I have never played it, so I was just wondering if you guys could tell me something that I should watch out for, or a certain rule that I don't know about.

Its 25 minutes halves. And the first game is on Saturday.

I think the main difference is... you can leave your umbrella/sunscreen etc.. at home.

Oh Really?
Who brings an umbrella to a soccer game if they know they're playing? Jussayin.

Dunno, I never played.. I just figured the way soccer players flop all over the field trying to get calls, that they were all Nancy boys. (nana2)

I play at the local rec center. It's alot of fun. Remember that you can use the walls to bounce the ball off, and get around people or make a pass. You can also shoot just wide of the goal, and the ball will bounce back, off the goalie, and in. We played 5v5, so I dunno if you have more people, probably harder to do that. It's alot of fun though :)
