So is he still immoral even though he declined the position for the good of the church?

Why the constant digs at the church vamp? Even tho I'm not catholic (thank God), I don't pull verses from the Bible and point at members here and say they are going to hell, I mean enough already!

Ever hear of ignoring it?
I'm with Matthy. I am Catholic (and damn proud) and I too am sick of the constant digs as well.
little funnies and stuff are not so bad... :)
they may go against what one believes... but so long as it is not a blatantly offensive and inflamatory dig @ someone/something else... it is still within forum guidelines :)

It is the same simple reason why IB got banned. 1stFlight keep knocking Israel and IB keep geting mad and pressing the issue and got him self band. I admit it was IB's fault but still the bad feelings were there because 1stFlight keep bringing up how bad Israel is. We as Christians recognize our failings and try to improve our selves. We don't need people who make fun our our bible misquoting it and then throw it in our faces.
Mat and Sat you know this will never end, in fact it will just get worse and finally it will be illegal to be a Christian and punishable by death. This is a fact that none can deny. Sure you can not belive in it but it will still happen none the less.

I asked a simple question, do you still think he is immoral even though he stepped down for the sake of the church. Heavens to betsy you guys are touchy:p

Frankly it is none of my business. That is how I get out of this argument. :D :p

Well, it would be hard to say. I don't know the man's heart. If his statement of celibacy is his way of making a true turn from homosexuality, then he should be okay. However, if he is doing it for the church rather than his spirit, he's got a ways to go.

Are they with respect to Dante's beliefs?
I got Level 1 - Limbo. Probably because I'm unsure about God and whatnot. Oh well, hanging out with Aristotle, Socrates, Plato, Caesar, and Virgil would probably be pretty interesting.

Eigth Level of Hell - the Malebolge
Many and varied sinners suffer eternally in the multi-leveled Malebolge, an ampitheatre-shapped pit of despair Wholly of stone and of an iron colour: Those guilty of fraudulence and malice; the seducers and pimps, who are whipped by horned demons; the hypocrites, who struggle to walk in lead-lined cloaks; the barraters, who are ducked in boiling pitch by demons known as the Malebranche. The simonists, wedged into stone holes, and whose feet are licked by flames, kick and writhe desperately. The magicians, diviners, fortune tellers, and panderers are all here, as are the thieves. Some wallow in human excrement. Serpents writhe and wrap around men, sometimes fusing into each other. Bodies are torn apart. When you arrive, you will want to put your hands over your ears because of the lamentations of the sinners here, who are afflicted with scabs like leprosy, and lay sick on the ground, furiously scratching their skin off with their nails. Indeed, justice divine doth smite them with its hammer.
Oh yeah:D and I still refuse to repent:p :D
