The team from CMU shows us their project, a version of D&D that runs on the Microsoft Surface. Earlier we dispatched a few orcs before coming into this cave and encountering.... well what will in the next build be a mini-boss.

Hopefully that tech catches on. Would be nice to have some kind of device that worked a bit differently than a normal PC or gaming console.

Imagine a bunch of people sitting around and playing turn based role playing or strategy games that play like the classic pen and paper or board games (D&D and Avalon Hill games) with all of the number crunching, sounds and effects of modern games.

How freaking awesome. :lol:

I want one of these now...
