Xpsp1 strange extension

I have just downloaded xpsp1 1106 final, but file name is 448 with no extension?File iz 135Mb.How could I put correct extension to install file?Please, help.I downloaded from fileconnect.

hmmm, you sure you got the right file?
it's an .exe file tho...

Try renaming it to SP1.exe and click on it to see what happens :)

hi,
have u got winrar, winace or winzip at all ?
if u have just load them up and open the file in there and then extract the file into a dir thats all.

The file is a RAR file but when downloaded it just stays as 448 file name.

If u havent got any of them just download winrar from www.winrar.com

When installed click file at top, then open archive
goto where u downloaded the file too
then select all files from where it says all archive ( theres a little arrow at side of box ) and select all files from the menu
select the file 448
then when its contents are in the window , click on extract too and extract all files into a directory.

Installing winrar I solved problem.I installed sp1 and works fine.
My Win xp is licenced.No fckgw-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx serial.
