I saw Detonator 44.90 on a Korean website.

Unfortunately it requires you to login to download it seems. Not being able to understand Korean, I hope someone who can will download this and upload to a website for the rest of us to download. :o

Darkcrow has a mini test of these drivers.

It also has support of FX 5600SE.

NVIDIA_NV31.DEV_0314.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce FX 5600SE"

Thanks, because after I translated the original web site with WorldLingo, I realized that to become a Free Member, I had to provide a resident ID number, or as a foriegn citizen, I could send a copy of my passport, drivers license or other said ID to the web master to get access to download the file and get a 30mb email account!

As Morrow reports, these drivers perform similar to the 44.71, up a few points here, down a few points there, nothing significant. Tried a few games and a few of benchmarks and they appear to work fine, but nothing else worth commenting on.

The only problem I have with the 44.90 drivers is just one bug...

If you tried to set a custom refresh rate via the refresh rate override section of the control panel.. it would give you an error and crash

The error message would state:
An error occured while Windows was working with the Control Panel file
C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\desk.cpl

You didn't have to set the refresh rate.. just accessing the dropdown box to select the refresh rate causes it to fail

I'm wondering if other people have the same issue.. I run Win2K SP4.. if anyone has that problem.. please say so..

New features:

In the overlay controls, is "track overlay rotation" a new feature?

Also, in the color correction section, the digital vibrance "words" (I have no better words to describe it) seem to have a new position...

As well.. if you don't have a special profile for your settings (eg. OpenGL or Direct3D).. the drop down for the profile section is disabled...

No sticky for this thread? :(

Well I tried that on WinXP SP2, it worked fine so maybe you did not uninstall the driver or not install manually properly or maybe it is Win2000 SP4 issue.

I know how to install properly.. been doing that with every Det.. the 44.67 Dets worked just fine (no control panel errors).. just these Dets...
