fx5200 at 250/400
fx5200 ultra at 325/650
fx5600 at 250/500
fx5600u at 400/800(wow)

Now the question is, does the fx5600 at 250/500 or whatever its clocked at lose to the fx5200 ultra clocked much higher? I know the fx 5600's core is a bit better also it has better bandwith and hyperZ compression alothographs thats why it uses more transistors, but can it make up for 500MHz ram?

I would sooner go with the card with better technology/features, and that being the case get GFFX5600nu over a 5200u

besides you could always overclock the 5600 ;)

hello guys, 20 views and no replies? There is an fx5600 ending on ebay soon, should I take it or get the fx5200 ultra instead?

$127 but his comes in a retail box and its made by asylum and only been used for one day. I think ill let it go for now anyway. Man that ti4200 for $66 is a steal! also why would you say the fx5600 is faster? the fx5200 ultra is clocked much higher!

from benchmarks i've seen, the 5200 ultra and 5600 are almost exactly the same performance wise. the 5600 core is more efficient, but ****ty memory is holding it back. the 5600 ultra blows both away, espeically when oc'ed (i think some company is equipping it with memory that is rated at 900 mhz....they got up to like 940 somethin i tink).

I read the reviews of the fx5200u and fx5600u, the 5200 gets 9300, the 5600 gets 10600, but when she is at 390/785, she gets 11400, eating the ti4200 by 300 marks! that doesnt make sense, since in another review, the fx5600u came at 400/800 stock and lost by like 500 marks to a ti4200

Pipelines and pipeline arrangement. Shading speed.
