Maggette is definitely a good player, but he's NOTHING that they need. They are perfectly fine at SG. They have 4 true shooting guards on the team. Why pick up another? Unless they are looking to unload mo williams, this looks like a very bad move.
Maggette is a known ball hog and that just can't happen on the Cavs with Lebron. Maybe he'd snap into shape and suddenly change his ways, but i'm having my doubts.

The more I think about it, the more I like Antawn Jameson better than Stoudemire. I definitely like the fact that they are listening to the fans and to Lebron about what it would take to keep him in Cleveland.

My Blazers picked up Camby today, will probably give us a good push for the playoffs. :)

Jamison is a great player. Very under-rated although his stats are so solid year in, year out. He would be a fantastic fit in Cleveland. Amare is more show than anything else. I just don't like his attitude.

Yea Antawn is definitely a better fit than Stoudemire. Antawn is a winner. He performs fantastic on ALL ends of the court. He can litterally do anything and an incredible teammate. He's like a mini Lebron. Only he doesn't take all the stupid ass 3's like Lebrick does.

One thing I DON'T like about these trade talks is getting rid of Hickson. He has come a LONG way and is a solid player on the Cavs. Why get rid of a solid player like that? Ship out someone worthless like mo, gibson, or varacrap.

Check it out. Cavs are closer to signing Jamison. If they pull this off, they are definitely contenders against the Lakers.

Mo and Varejao are solid role players. They contribute big-time to the team. Gibson is replaceable because Jamison would take up his slot and be more productive.
I expect Z to leave because of his expiring contract, be waived and rejoin the Cavs.

Dunleavy the GM is just pathetic. Oh well, when he coached he sucked too. Poor Clipper fans. Are there any real clipper fans? If you live in LA, wouldn't you rather cheer for those Lakers?

There is nothing the Cavs can offer the Suns that would make them want to trade Stoudemire.
Stoudemire kind of makes me man. One of the most athletically gifted players in the NBA, but doesn't have the heart to play 100% every game (although it's gotten better over the last four months).

I was really hoping they got rid of varaho. I despise that man with a passion. He's not a good defensive player, and he flops around more than a salmon going upstream.:thumbdwn:
They need to keep Mo Williams. He is developing into a good player. He may not be there right now, but I still think he's an asset to the team.

What's going on with McGrady? Any speculations on his future?

I just read this (http://www.fearthesword.com/2010/2/16/1313827/stoudemire-jamison-maggette?ref=yahoo):
Though James has voiced his desire for Stoudemire, he's been supportive of the team's attempts to land Jamison for the last month, sources said. There are factions within the organization that prefer acquiring Jamison -- who is 33 and has two seasons and $27 million left on his contract -- over Stoudemire.
While the Cavs have been willing to part with Hickson, their prized developing forward, for Stoudemire, sources said they do not feel that way about trading for Jamison. Because of the amount of money left on Jamison's deal, they are not as willing to give up as much.
The Wizards, who are headed for new ownership, have already begun a process to rebuild and clear salary. Moving Jamison for an expiring contract like Ilgauskas would accelerate that mission dramatically. According to a source, Jamison has requested to be traded and the Wizards are believed to want to accommodate him.
That's pretty interesting. Jamison being 33 would be a definite risk for keeping James in Cleveland in the future. Not only that, I agree with this piece saying that Jamison is not worth giving up Hickson. I still would rather take Jamison over stoudemire, because stoudemire is going to want more money in the long run.

From here on out, Jamison is only going to decrease in productivity. Sure this year and next they are championship worthy with him. But what about the next?
I like Hickson. I don't want them to get rid of him. He's cheap and good. Just like Anthony Parker.

Moon needs to go. West needs go. IBig Z needs to go. Varaho needs to go. Get rid of those four players and you can get a quality starter that the Cavs can invest in.
