I want to set up my vizio 42 inch LCD TV the problem is it only has a VGA adapter, so I search on line and some one said to get a DVI-I cable and a VGA adapter, now I have seen these on newegg and I wanted some feedback I am pretty sure some of you have try this before.

You'll be better off using HDMI if you can. Your card probably came with a DVI to HDMI adapter.

You can get HDMI cables dirt cheap from www.monoprice.com

My brother is running his PC with an 8800GTX on a Vizio 42" 120Hz LCD using a 50 foot HDMI cable from monoprice. It looks awesome and works without a hitch. :)
