What were you shipping? Hopefully nothing fragile obviously...
Yep thats happened to me before also. :rolleyes2
It may be surprising but I've found USPS to be the best for shipping stuff.

It was my Everglide mousepad and mouse bungee.
Yeah USPS is the best because if its in the same state the post office just delivers it no hassle, but if its out of state, it goes though FedEx then to your local post office to your house.

Wow. I have to say in all my years of receiving packages, I've never had any sort of problems like that with UPS or FedEx. Both companies have been on time (for the most part) and stuff has arrived all in one piece. But that totally sucks. Hopefully nothing was breakable in there. :(

I don't mean to be the party pooper here, but ever consider that MAYBE it happened in the shipping department of the company you ordered it from? :thinker:

It could have.
But everything i have gotten though UPS has had at least one corner smashed.
MY LCD monitor, my hard drive, my cpu and mobo..........
and when the ups guy was carrying my LCD monitor to my door, he was tossing it in the air while flipping it.........

Must be a super light and compact LCD or he has a big dude, because I know I couldn't do that with my NEC Multisync 1700 box. Crazyness.

fedex = the suxor
Usually they ship as promised.
The last shipment that I got was my GF's monitor. The box was okay so I didnt have any objections when it arrived. When I unacked and turned on teh monitor i noticed a huge discoloration in the bottom left corner. After a close examination - i noticed that the side of the monitor bezel had a small but deep bent in it.
Then i discovered a small hoel in teh cardboard box that corresponded to the damage on teh monitor. The hole was maybe 1/8 inch in diamater but I had to RMA - went thru fedex/newegg/NEC/fedex/fedex/newegg/fedex/fedex routine - took me bouth 3 hrs but i got a new monitor send via 2nd day air at no additional cost - i bitched a lot to both fedex and newegg. Told em it was my gf's bday and stuff and that i am going to demand my money back etc...... So they sent me a new monitor within 2 days :P
Good luck with your shipments !!!!!

UPS sucks. I have had them just leave a package on my doorstep and take off. I wouldn't really have cared, but it was an $1100 LCD Monitor. :rolleyes: That and they seem to come up with shipping charges that I have just never heard of.

Yeah, it cost just about the same as my order to ship, and they ruin it too!
