Guys i need help please, Ive just formatted a friends PC with Win XP x32(Its really old).

After the re-install of windows i asked "right i need the motherboard driver disc" ... He was like "Disc? ... I dont have any disc" ... I was like :headexplode:

Its a MSI Socket 775 Pentium 4 motherboard.
Modle - MS-7046.
Chipset - i915P/i915G.

Would anybody know where i can get the drivers for this motherboard? Preferably the ethernet drivers or even the whole boards driver set.

Thanks in advance.

yep, those are what looks like network drivers. You might need the sound drivers, sometimes they look like Realtec97. If his sound works fine, then don't worry bout it.

its an intel based motherboard, so you need to download the intel drivers for motherboard.

The usual rule of thumb is to get your drivers directly from the hardware manufacturer, that way will provide you with the latest drivers and enhancements, no matter the platform.

1. Chipset - INF Update Utility for Intel® 5, 4, 3, 900 Series Chipsets (http://downloadcenter.intel.com/confirm.aspx?httpDown=http://downloadmirror.intel.com/18494/a08/infinst911autol.exe&agr=&ProductID=&DwnldId=18494&strOSs=&OSFullName=&lang=eng)
2. Graphics - Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator Driver (http://downloadcenter.intel.com/confirm.aspx?httpDown=http://downloadmirror.intel.com/12536/a08/win2k_xp142550.exe&agr=&ProductID=&DwnldId=12536&strOSs=&OSFullName=&lang=eng)

Apply them in the same order I've provided you with the regular XP installation pattern:

1. Install chipset software
2. Reboot (no matter you can skip it, do it)
3. Install graphics driver
4. Reboot

And you're on the go!

Hope this helps ;)
