LaDanian Tomlinson has been released from the Chargers (http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/San-Diego-Chargers-cut-LaDainian-Tomlinson-022210).

I mean, seriously....how stupid can you be? He is the ONLY reason why they make to the playoffs year after year.

Anyway, I hope he signs with a good team and get that ring he's been after all of his career.

Continued decline in production vice costs.

They simply can't afford to keep him if he costs that much DD.

I like the guy and he scores a lot of TD's but, look outside the TD numbers.

If you look outside the TD numbers, what do you get? A subpar team that won't get .500 this year.

Hey, I like what he does for the team :)

I just can't see them justifying paying him what he wants when they can get a younger, quicker back for short-yardage situations that he was playing in.

He is simply not as good or as versatile as he once used to be and yes, it probably is from carrying the team on his back for so many years.

Bleh, they can get two backs and be better off. Agreed on him being past his prime.

Sounds like he may end up in Minnesota to replace Chester, or NO to replace Bush if either gets axed... would be a good fit for him as he'd be the situational back behind AP or Thomas... he'd need to take a pay cut of course, but from his point of view you'd think money isn't an issue any more and he'd want to be on a contending team like the Vikings or Saints...
