Alright so I haven't connected my 3007WFP to my computer since I upgraded to 7. Now that I have to use the media card reader, I can't turn my monitor off. It now brings up the "shut down your computer" or log off, sleep, restart, etc menu in the center of the screen.

this is really obnoxious...

I've looked through the power settings and I can't find anything? The closes I got was the power settings for the lid of a laptop, but that doesn't really apply in this case.

Do you mean that just because you have the monitor connected with the USB cable to the computer, the Power button won't turn off the monitor?? And if you unplug the USB, then the monitor can be turned off? :o
I have a 2007WFP, which is always connected through USB, and I never had such a problem.
