what a beautiful card. I hope it overclocks well! Anyone else getting one? Albatron is selling a 256mb non-ultra version as well

Kick ass man! Yeah, I wanted one of those really bad, but with the problems I'm having with flickering in my previous 2 PNY GeForce FX's, and hearing that some MSI and Gainward cards had the same problems, I decided to get an eVGA card since they have actually been very helpful (and they've actually contacted ME a few times) to help solve this problem. and they said they'd send me as many RMAs as I needed to get rid of the flicker, so I figured I might as well go with them since I wasn't quite sure of Albatron's tech support and return policies... Also, eVGA has free overnight cross shipping, and well, you can't argue with that :) But damn if that ain't a sweet looking card! Way to go man, post some impressions of it when you get it...Let us know how far you can OC that beast and how loud it is :) Try to find a way to get all 3 fans working at once too, I'm sure that would help you OC some!

from what I have seen, all the fans are powered off the single connector, so they have them daisy-chained, one of the fans probably have a rheostat or something built in. It may be a bit much to power all three fans at once off the single connector. Im upgrading finally from my Visiontek GF4 Ti 4600. It served me well

I've heard lots of good things about EVGA. They seem very customer oriented.

Those cards are damn sexy. That would look very nice with my blue case and multitude of blue LED fans. :D

the albatron only uses 2 of the 3 fans IIRC...the 3rd fan is used as a backup in case 1 of the other fans fails

well, it arrived a day early, but I knew it would. I haven't installed yet. it comes rather interesting packaging, some sort of polyester like backpack. It is not very heavy card. I'm thinking that the cooler is copper plated aluminum. When I get home and take it out and feel it. Copper is colder to the touch than aluminum is. Overall it seems like a rather nice package, comes with lots of goodies, even a case badge

there are no copper made heat sink (as default by campanys ), only aluminum. it's copper covered... (1% copper 99% aluminum :(

Said that the Prolink GFFX 5900 had an all copper cooler. It looks like copper with very thin fins like my SLK-800 heatsink. Prolink's website talks about it but does not say what it's made of (that I could see anyway).

Welp, I am very impressed with this card. flawless install, but I expect nothing less than that from NV. Runs very cool(38-39c in 2d), it is very quiet, with autodetect it sets the clocks at 449-452mhz core and 949-952mhz memory) and there is a NICE boost in speed overclocking it, and thus far I haven't tried manually setting the overclock to see what the maximum is. It certainly is a big boost in speed over my GF4 TI 4600 I upgraded from. The blue LED is also nice, it shines down and reflects off the bottom of my aluminum case, looks nice. 2d is crisp and clear at 1600x1200 100hz, but is that really an issue anymore!?!

Gainward is good but expensive and for the FX 5900Ultra it an't really worth it it, but for the regular then it is.
