I just built a new machine with Windows 7 and Windows XP partitions. The card and drivers works fine at my monitor's native resolution (1440 x 900) on the XP machine. On the Windows 7 machine, I can only get this resolution if I uninstall the drivers entirely. With the drivers, I have every array of resolutions EXCEPT 1440 x 900, and everything else looks like crap. I can't even open the nvidia control panel. I've spent 2 hours on with customer service who were stumped. Any ideas? Thanks!

EVGA 55SL Chipset

I did not know you can run hardware in compatibility mode.. or did you just mean the software? Nothing works. The only time the resolution is correct is after I remove the hardware from device manager, which also uninstalls the drivers. But of course, video does not play right, web pages scroll choppily... so I can't win.
Then, Win 7 will download the drivers through Microsoft Update, which I would think wold work! But still, my resolution is not displayed once the drivers are installed.
